Road Safety Technical Records for Nine Critical Sectors - Autopista del Norte

The Project...

TRANSIS staff performed an integral road safety evaluation of nine critical sectors belonging to the sections Pativilca - Santa - Trujillo and Puerto Salaverry of the Peruvian Road Network N°4. Our team identified risks in the operation of the road, signage and geometric design. Based on this evaluation, mitigation measures were proposed in order to reduce risks, injuries and fatal crashes.

At the end of the service, TRANSIS presented nine technical records which included a series of innovative ideas. These included speed limit dynamic signs, resonators with thermoplastic, lateral resonator bands, spacers, among other measures.
