Traffic Impact Analysis for the Extension of International Airport Jorge Chavez

The Project...

TRANSIS is working on the Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) of the second terminal of the International Airport Jorge Chávez. As part of the TIA our team carried out vehicle and pedestrian counts in more than 20 intersections and more than 2000 Origine-Destination surveys.

Based on the results, TRANSIS suggested ways to mitigate any negative effects, including improvements to traffic signs, road signs, geometry and operation on the roads around the future airport.

We hope our suggestions improve the future operation, order and road safety of the new terminal.
